From August 14 to 23, Los Alcázares celebrates its most vibrant tradition with the International Week of the Garden and the Sea., an essential event that will fill the Manuel Floreal Menárguez Square of popular culture, gastronomy, music, and folklore. As part of the summer cultural activities program organized by the Los Alcázares City Council, this week-long festival brings together the best of the municipality's orchard and seafaring roots in a festive atmosphere that welcomes both residents and visitors.
Tradition, flavor and folklore facing the Mar Menor
The official opening will be on Wednesday, August 14 with the traditional proclamation and the expected one opening of the taverns, which will offer traditional dishes, artisan products, and live performances throughout the week. Each evening, Plaza Manuel Floreal Menárguez will become a meeting point for enjoying regional folklore, choirs and dances, cultural performances, traditional displays, and culinary delights that pay homage to the soul of the countryside and the sea.
