Of the August 14-23, Los Alcázares will be dressed up for the party to host the 53rd International Week of Gardens and Seas, A deeply rooted regional festival that combines traditional cuisine, folklore, and popular culture in a vibrant setting next to the Mar Menor.

During these days, the municipality will host a program packed with cultural and festive activities for all ages. The event venue will be transformed into a large showcase of Murcian tradition, where visitors can enjoy folklore performances, regional dance exhibitions, exhibits and an outstanding gastronomic exhibition which will highlight the most authentic flavors of the garden and the sea.
One of the biggest attractions will be the tour of traditional barracks, run by local clubs and associations, where typical dishes made with regional products will be offered. - 21:00 – Setting the scene in the orchard environment with the Murcia Orchard Troubadours Group (José Travel Montoya “El Reputín” Troubadour Association – Manuel Cárceles Caballero “El Patiñero” Group).
- 23:00 – Reception of Our Lady of the Virgin with the Group of Troubadours of the Huerta de Murcia.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 16
- 19:00 – 22nd International Parade of the Orchard and the Sea (Multicultural Parade). Itinerary: Departure from Los Narejos. From Avenida Ferrocarril, Calle Marqués de Rozalejo, Avenida de los Narejos, Avenida Carril de Las Palmeras, Avenida de la Libertad, to Avenida 13 de Octubre (Torre Pacheco Road).

- 21:00 – Day of the “La Morenica” Huertana Association in Puente Tocinos (Murcia). Special gastronomy and craft demonstration.
- 22:30 – International Folklore Festival with the Choir and Rondalla of the Peña Huertana "El Chisquero" of Barriomar, La Purísima de Murcia, ACASTAMUR (Association of Friends of the Castanet of Murcia), and the Costa Rican Cultural Expressions Company. Free admission until capacity is reached.
